She has extensive experience in operational management, marketing and communications, event management, student recruitment, admissions and widening participation, project/change management, student services support and strategic and financial management.
Dr Andrew Willis has experience of carrying out a variety of academic research projects aimed at assessing the effectiveness of community-based interventions aimed at preventing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Her academic background is in Public Policy and Government, and she is particularly interested in policy-relevant research with emphasis on interventions relating to wellbeing and community cohesiveness.

After working in academia and then in rugby league development and promotion, Julian Harrison has spent the last sixteen years of his life working in community engagement, development and in the specific areas of equality, diversity, community cohesion and human rights.
Lynn has many years’ experience as a senior administrator across both public and private sector employers.
Michelle has a background of providing administrative and secretarial support across various specialties within the NHS. Having recently graduated with a BA Honours degree in Business Studies has a vast experience of arranging and managing events, as well as providing administration to CLAHRC East Midlands.

Dr Natalie Darko is an experienced academic and researcher, who has conducted extensive national and international based research exploring communities’ experiences of health and physical activity.
Pamela has Project managed several voluntary organisations and community groups and have been very instrumental in bridging the gap between black minority ethnic voluntary organisations and Statuary organisations in order to enable effective partnership.
Professor Kamlesh Khunti, PhD MD FRCGP FRCP FMedSci
Kamlesh Khunti is Professor of Primary Care Diabetes and Vascular Medicine at the University of Leicester. He is Co-Director of the Leicester Diabetes Centre (UK) and leads a research group that is currently working on the early identification of, and interventions with, people who have diabetes or are at increased risk of developing diabetes.
